Take A Look

Today I wanted to share a few links I've bookmarked / stalked lately.

Firstly, I've found a spot on the internet where I can easily spend an entire afternoon: an encyclopedic online gallery called Artsy. The website, true to its claim of being "one of the largest collections of contemporary art available online," provides images of artwork from many different genres (mostly focused on 1800s to present), organized in such a way that allows you to jump from one world to a next and discover new artists and niches. Once you sign up for a free account, you can favorite various pieces of artwork and return to them whenever you like. I encourage you to go on www.artsy.net and start browsing. (PS: the image above, Stephen Dessaint's Fomentera 1, is a photograph I favorited on Artsy. Probably because I'm craving the beach.)

An article that impacted me immensely this week was the reprint of George Saunders's convocation speech at Syracuse University this year. Although it was delivered to new graduates, everyone can benefit from reading what he had to say. A good reminder to always be kind, no matter how stressful or busy life gets.

Miranda Kerr is a beautiful being, and I really enjoyed Into The Gloss's interview with her. Needless to say, I want to try Kora products now.

I discovered two new blogs that had me lost in their archives from my very first visit. One is Nishaantishu, a lifestyle blog written by Freya who lives in London. Her photographs are beautiful, her writing is articulate and relatable, and she seems like a genuinely kind human being. I discovered her through Rosie's blog, another regular read. On the beauty side of things, I've been enjoying a site called Organic Beauty Talk. It's full of informative reviews of natural, organic beauty products, and I entered two giveaways there in the span of a week... didn't win either, but I know I'll be back to enter more! Plus, you'll find an arsenal of smoothie recipes on this site.

I need to do these link love posts more often... there are far too many discoveries I want to share. Hope you enjoy these!
