This Week In Details

Technically it's not fall yet, but the start of September certainly feels like a change of season. Tomorrow I'm starting a new project downtown (meaning more rush hour commutes), so it only seemed fitting to spend some time earlier this week relaxing in the farmlands. After stopping at a brewery for burgers, cider and sweet potato fries, we took a hike in search of blackberries. Empty-handed, we stumbled upon a lavender farm and decided to take a tour.

The farm sold dried lavender by the bunch, every kind of lavender bath product imaginable and lavender edibles/beverages, including this Honey Lavender Lemonade. It was the perfect thirst-quencher.

Green, gold and a hint of red in the trees.

This fig and almond cake doubled as a healthy(ish) dessert and a (semi)naughty breakfast for a couple of days.

I discovered Line camera and this happened. (Please tell me I'm not alone in my insanity hobby!)
